I have a 1990 325is and I am having issues bleeding the brakes. One of my rear lines is leaking so I have plugged the port from the master cylinder that leads to the rear in hopes that I can bleed my front brakes to get my car to a lift so I can service the rear lines. After doing this I worked on bleeding my front brakes so that I have some brakes to get me to the lift. The front right brake bled beautiful but I have not been able to bleed the front left brake. While diagnosing the front left brake I unbolted the hardline that goes from the abs unit to the front right caliper, no fluid drained out. So then I had a buddy of my pump the brakes and still no fluid came out. Does anyone know why I cannot get fluid from the abs unit to the front left brake line?

Maybe it is just a mistake, but you say that the left front won't bleed and when you disconnected the right front line from the ABS no fluid came out. If you meant left front caliper and left line, I'd say that the valve is stuck and the only fix I know of is replacement of the ABS unit. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
