    Brake Pressure Regulator Help

Trying to reach the pressure regulator to disconnect the main front to back brake hard line. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to get any tools in there to disconnect this fitting. It's too tight. Any tips?

One thought I had since the existing brake line will be replaced is to cut it and slide an 11mm box end over the line and remove the nut from the regulator below working from beneath the engine bay. I could do the same with the new line before securing the other end of it. I'm hoping since the connection is in the engine bay it won't be seized up with rust and should come loose fairly easily, unlike the connections at the rear. Thoughts?

Should be able to remove it with a flare nut wrench (which is what you should be using on all your brake line joints).

use a flare nut 'crows foot' on an extension so you can reach down in there
it takes some fiddling to get top /bottom lines back in

i recently installed a wilwood proportioning valve in place of the stock valve. I believe i used a 7/16 flare wrench for the brake lines and something like a 19mm or larger to hold the stock valve steady. First, i removed the throttle body from the intake manifold(s52) and then removed the brake master cylinder. Its not a fun job but doable from top, hope that helps.

You can do it from the top without removing anything. Tis a bit awkward and you are working by feel, but possible. Spray the connections with PBlaster or Kroil a day or two in advance and use an 11mm flare wrench on the line fittings.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
