    URGENT HELP: Front subframe issue

Old one was cracked where the motor mount is, got one from a 150k 318.
Installed the steering rack, control arms and went to go install and the tabs on the subframe (back mounting bolt) and it seems like either one or the other will fit otherwise one doesn't line up and go into the hole. is there a trick or something i am missing? or am i retarded.
car was in a very minor accident (valance was pushed in some) so i don't think it has a bent frame or anything.

Front subframe bushings are very difficult to get in sometimes. You have to use a C-Clamp or vice grip to hold it in place. Use a lot of force.

      bushing?
it's not lining up, the mounting tab/cylinder sticking out of the subframe mount bolt (rear one) is like 1-2 mm to the left(facing front of car) and i dont know how i can move the subframe towards the driver side to line it up as well as keep the steering knuckle half way in.
      seriously frustrating.
I can get one side bolted up but the other side will not line up perfectly.
I tried barely having one sides bolt's in and trying to line up the other side and nada. Also tried removing the motor mount and seeing if it was shot and that was causing the line up issue and still nada.

How should I go about this?
Can't afford to take it to a shop and have them try it.
      All help is appreciated.

The subframe not lining up means that the frame of the car is distorted. The fix will be to put the car on a frame machine.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
