    Can't decide!!!

Please help me decide what brake set up to go. I am about to finish up my S50 swap on E30 which I am using only as my track car and need to upgrade my brakes. I can't decide if I should do Stoptech Sport Slotted brake rotors with PFC 08 compound pads, new calipers, SS brake lines and brake ducts or just go with UUC Big Brake kit and also have brake cooling ducts. Price difference would be around $400. BBK costing more of course.

Is $400 more for BBK worth it in long run?

I can't make your decision for you but I love my UUC BBK.

Do you experience brake fade at the track? What tires are you planning to run?

Last year I did not had any problems with my brakes. I was running Hawk pads, OEM rotors, Castrol SRF brake fluid and no cooling ducts and Toyo RA1 tires. This year I planning to be faster and will have more powerful engine. Also I will be running Dunlop Direza's

You will need brake ducts with/without a BBK. Before springing for a BBK, try plain rotors with PFC01 (better) or 08 pads. That may be all you need. SS lines, if high quality, are okay but not really any better than fresh OE lines. What is more important is freshly rebuilt calipers and good brake fluid.

The best brakes you could have aren't as important as driver skill when it comes to brake fade. Most drivers don't use the brakes hard enough (to the point of ABS activation). Softer, longer, brake application just builds more heat and gives the brakes less time to cool off.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Just ordered BBK from UUC. They are running 15% discount this weekend. Great deal

I had some issues with my UUC BBK that really put me off of it. I prefer to go OEM+ with new calipers, rotors, and good pads. We run a similar setup on an m30-powered race car and have done 12-hour enduros with 0 brake fade. You won't encounter a tougher situation anywhere else.
