Quite possibly cracked, its a common issue on our cars. I just got a replacement for mine, and they make little reinforcements you can weld in. $17 from the same guy who sells the odometer gears. Forget his name but hes on here. I got my new subframe off a friendly member here parting out his car, definitely hunt around before you buy new!
That is clearly not a crack... You can see the crater in the start of the weld pool, then as the bead is built up you can see peaks. Too fast for my taste, but that production for ya! It doesn't look like there is anything wrong with it, they just didn't run the bead all the way around.

Those are for the motor mount holes, not control arm.

You'll need to get the control arms and steering rack out and support the engine, those are the harder parts. But yours looks fine to me.
