    rear brake cali/line

Just wanted to ask.......car is buried under snow, but Im getting ready to replace rr lt cali.

Does the rear line fitting allow rotation into cali?...or must cali be rotated to thread the line in?

I recall reading something about this.......

should be a double flare with captive nut that allows free rotation behind backing plate then remove caliper with hose attached then remove hose from caliper

factory manual shows removing at rear of backing plate to remove caliper w/hose

      Angus......great link, thank you.

let me ask though,.....must I remove the cali w/ the hose attached?....and is that because the cali end of the hose is not freely rotational?....

My thoughts were to remove cali w/o any hoses attachd..if poss of course.

your right it does Not free rotate at the caliper(ie remove hose first then remove caliper) so you would have to rotate it off the hose once caliper is removed if you leave hose attached . break hose loose first then remove caliper slide pins remove caliper w/inner pad, twist caliper off hose pop out inner pad from caliper piston...reverse to install and bleed
