    ie camber/toe plate problem

I have hit a problem perhaps.
On the camber side the plate is basically wedged between the subframe and body.
    Is this correct?
The body can be pounded in alittle though, not a big problem.

On the toe side this is as far back as it goes. It hits the lip of the gas tank.
Does this gap look about right? The real big problems is the outside....
it has to be welded so far back I don't even know if it'll fit or give me any adjustment.

    The body is blocking allot.
Again, I have no idea if any of this is right.

Dropped the frame and put the plate in.
This is as far back/front as it'll go.

The problem I see is the angle of the plate because the lip of the gas tank
won't let me straighten it level and the body won't let me move it any more forward.

Notice the angle. It does not supposed to have any angle to it right?

As far forward as it goes.

It's pretty tight. Mine were welded a little too far back and hit the body, and needed to be trimmed a bit to get the subframe in. As such, there isn't enough adjustment forward to even get me to 0 toe, I'm stuck with 1/2" toe out in the rear. Granted I'm going fuh raze so I'm fine with more camber, but the adjustments are way off for me right now.

The toe plate is the real problem for me.
It's like these were made for a e2x and someone just said, they can fit the e30 sorta.

So I'm just going put them in and pound cut whatever is needed fuck it..

With the camber plates at straight up it looks like this..
What does this give me, +camber or less?

If it's less camber I'm good with that.
Stock -camber with the ie3 is pretty extreme as it is.

and I'm going to put the toe around here.
will this give me more + or - toe?

Moving the outside pivot point forward increases toe in.

Move the inside pivot point up decreases camber.

So your camber adjustment looks good, but right now you have more +toe adjustment than you do - toe adjustment. Since lowering an e30 adds toe, you are going to want more - toe adjustment.

The amount you have now might be enough, but I personally would try to get more so I wouldn't have to worry about it.

Did you get the instructions? It covers orientation. If you didn't shoot me a pm. It's all pretty much common sense though, looks like you're getting it.

                    Mine fit (well enough anyway)

are those the bushings that raise the subframe by 12mm or something? might be an issue

                      It is.
                      It's a big issue.
You need to run stock height bushings or you have to cut into the body.

also these plates are not made for e30s. They are way too long.
So long, that it's impossible to use the whole adjustment range.
The bushings do not bind, the actual arms bind half way up because of the crazy angles it is impossible to get full adjustment.

You should get the normal e30 ones. These are way too long and are not made for e30s.
