Who makes the softest diff cover bushing.

Hello.
I need a new bushing but all I can find is the replacement bushing
with all the holes. The one on my diff is solid rubber, but can't find it.

I'm guessing IE has the softest stuff though?

the added holes will do pretty much nothing. It's steel and isn't going to compress any time soon. Just buy a factory replacement rubber one if you want something soft.

Now im on the pc, i see the difference with very slight voids in the bottom and at the top. You want something softer though right? the mount is physically the same dimensions and fits. I don't think any of the OEM replacement mounts are void free. The febi and corteco ones I've used are all like that. Even the replacement Z3 M ones have voids in them too, they are just reinforced.

Edit: 80A? think that's about the softest you'll get if someone makes one out of poly in that rating. I know the AKG one is 85A, think revshift is somewhere around there. Going to be stiffer than the oem rubber one. Id just use a replacement one and forget about it if you are dead worried about noise.

Weird, the last 7 digits of the part number is even on the solid rubber one you pictured (33 17 1 128 586). But that PN just brings up more E30 webbed bushings. I'd just do an OEM dude, unless you are putting down some real power. If it's too soft, well it was only like $20.

Original OEM e30 bushings were solid, but the OEM replacements switched to the design with holes in it.
