    rear wheels are stuck

Hope I can get some help from you guys.

I was changing my wheels today and after I drop it back on the ground, the car doesn't want to move forward or backward. I jacked the car up and the wheels still rotate, clockwise and counterclockwise but for about 180 degrees and it doesn't turn anymore. This applies for both wheels.

Also I tried putting in one of the bolts on the wheels and it doesn't seemed to go all the way in. I was wondering if there's something wrong behind the rotor.

Any input would be great guys. This is my daily driver so hopefully I can get it back on the road asap :)

Sounds like your wheel studs are too long and are hitting something.

oh you might be right. i had spacers on before and the car probably came with longer studs.

Yup, definitely too long. They will interfere with the parking brake.

This happened to me about 10 years ago with an 84 318i that I bought, it came with 15x8 BBS wheels and had longer bolts in the front. I rotated all the tires and did the brakes and brake cylinders, when I reassembled I could not get the rear wheels to turn but half way. Then is when I noticed that the longer studs where placed in the wrong wheel. Drove me nuts for hours till I finally figured it put. Freaking hilarious... Thank god you got it going and fixed.
I am not sick, I am twisted. Sick makes it sound like there is a cure.
