    Stainless brake line problem

    Hi
I have purchased a stainless braided brake line kit for my E30 and have run into a bit of a problem. The fitting on the new lines where they screw into the calipers is different as pictured below. The OEM lines have a standard convex flare and the new Troutmann lines have a concave (inverted) flare. Has anyone seen this before? Are the new lines made to have some kind of "olive" between the caliper and the inverted flare.
BTW I have asked the supplier and they say all their lines have inverted flares like the new stainless lines.
Does anyone have a photo of their standard line and/or replacement stainless braided line for comparison?
    Thanks
    Chris

Yeah those fittings are wrong. You could get adapters, a lot of older Volvo's have adapters on the front brakes that convert from a inverted to bubble flare. Otherwise return them for the correct lines or a refund.
