    Air in ABS unit

After bleeding the brakes and locking up on a test ride, I am pretty sure I have some air in the ABS unit. I bled the brakes with the car on a lift and neglected to refill the reservoir. Will re-bleeding the braking system remove the air from the ABS unit? I read elsewhere something about actuation(don't know what it is or how to do it) or taking it to the dealer.

on my grand cherokee the dealer has a scan tool that purges the ABS pump and lines electronically.
