    Resurrecting the dead.

What is the best method for those little retainer clips on the inner tie rod? Bend them back, or what? Should they pop out with a screwdriver? I see where there is access to a tab. But I just cant get them to budge.

Yea, the first time I did tie rods, I hated those things. But, just get a little screw driver and a hammer and get underneath the tabs, then use a bigger one to bend em back. Works great!
