    Girling master cylinder DIY?

    Looking for a DIY to replace the brake master cylinder in a 1991 318i.

    Replacement is easy... 2 nuts and 2 hard lines. The hardest part is finding the right MC at a reasonable price. I'm in the same boat right now.

      I bought a used one off this forum or 50% less than a new part would cost

        Well there you go... The rest is pretty easy. Its literally nuts and then the 2 hard lines. If you can empty the reservoir do it as its easier to remove the inner nut if not its going to be harder but it can still be done. When you install it done put the reservoir in until after you finish tightening everything. Anyway... Hope I was of some help.
