Spongy brake pedal, ix booster, 7 series MC

When I first installed the IX booster and MC, I used a vacuum bleeder and bench bled MC. Pedal was always firm, almost like driving a truck with air brakes, but felt weak. Switched pads to something with more bite, so had to bed them in. While doing this, my pedal sunk lower than it ever had, made me think I burst a line or ruined the MC.

Running 225/50/16 re11's and can engage ABS, got a nice transfer layer on the rotors too, but I have a dead zone the first 1/3 of travel. To engage ABS, I have to press the pedal almost to the floor. (Textar pads also make a great light show at night haha)

I'm thinking I had some air in the ABS since the car was sitting with no MC for months. Also if I'm at a stop and the car is running, the pedal firms back up to how it was originally if I pump it a few times, but goes back to being mushy. I'm not loosing any fluid either.

Going to bleed the brakes again tomorrow after work, don't think I'll use the vacuum bleeder this time though. I spent a solid 3 minutes per caliper and the air bubbles never stopped. Uncle said it was normal because the fluid was moving through the hose too fast. Idk, maybe he said that so I'd stop wasting his DOT4 Pentosin lol.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Pressure bleeder. It'll solve the problem.

I'll check if they have one at the shop, know if I can rent one or how much they go for? Read others having success using those around 10-15psi.

Bled brakes with Motul 5.1 this time, back to normal, but piston seals have been burnt to a crisp.
