How many rear wheel bearing part numbers are there?

So, I purchased a set of rear wheel bearings a few weeks back.

These: http://www.ecstuning.com/ES11270/. Part number is 33411468747.

On RealOEM, the wheel bearing is listed as having part number 33416762317.

To confuse it more, on Turner's site, the same part -- 33411468747 -- mentions that it's a replacement for 33411130617. (http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-16...e46-z3-z4.aspx)

ECS has the "Genuine BMW" part that matches the RealOEM number (http://www.ecstuning.com/Search/Site...62317/ES58052/) but not a FAG version. Though the FAG version comes up on the search results when searching for the RealOEM number..

The bearings pressed into the hubs and the flange pressed into the bearing, and I'm assuming it would be odd if both ECS and Turner were listing the wrong part numbers, so what gives here? I thought OEM replacement parts would reference identical BMW part numbers.

Are there subtle differences between these parts that might make one better than the other?

I ask because I botched the installation of one of the bearings. I installed the flange before the dust shield and stupidly thought I could remove the flange without damaging the bearing -- and was wrong. Anyways, now looking to buy another bearing and noticing that apparently there were several options.

    Thanks,

    Som

Part numbers are going to vary due to other numbers superseding the old ones. Real oem number might be correct but when searched a diff part number might have superceded that one hence the new number.

I can't speak for the superseded part numbers but for the E30 there are two rear wheel bearings.

The 84-85 cars have a small rear bearing and ALL 86+ cars use the same larger rear bearing.

I went ahead and ordered the 747 part for the one I botched. Figure they'll either both be right or both be wrong.

Som, did the 747 bearings work? I'm having the same question regarding real wheel bearings.

Yup. This is what I bought, and it worked -- http://www.ecstuning.com/ES11270/.

Edit: I can't speak to as to whether or not the other part numbers would / would not have worked, though. Also, for reference, my car is a 12/86 built, 87 model year 325i.
