    no fluid from bleeder valve

About two months ago I started fixing up things on the cart and nothing has been going well. I barely have time for this anymore. About ready to throw in the towel but maybe the good men here have sage advice.

My left rear caliper was seized and rather than figure that out I replaced it with a rebuild from Turner. I put it on about 1.5 months ago. I have had the car up fixing other things since then. Today I got around to flushing the fluid. I discovered that no fluid comes out, even with bleeder removed completely. Tried pressure bleeder and tried pumping. No luck. Other brakes bleed fine. What do I do besides sell car?

Pull the line and see if there is fluid in the line?

Done. Removed hose from caliper to line and it had fluid. Shot compressed air through it and its free and clear. Now if I push the brake fluid comes out the line. How can this be? Omg this car is no fun anymore

How? I never even drove it. I tried compressed air into to bleeder screw to remove debris. No luck. Now what?

Umm... I thought to do that I push the brakes to force fluid into it, no?

I don't understand. I have tried pounding the pedal for like 20 minutes. Tried the pressure bleeder. When I removed the line it dripped freely from the line. I have completely remkved removed the bleeder screw from the caliper and nothing comes out.

thats the weirdest thing ive ever heard. if you have fluid coming to the hose, and into the caliper, but not out the caliper, there is something blocking the path inside the caliper.

no need to freak out and sell the car. contact turner and see if there is any way you can exchange for a one that works.

to clarify you have opened the bleeder screw and tried compressed air through the caliper?

try taking the bleeder screw completely out?

EDIT: nvm that last queston, i didnt read.

you need a new caliper, the reman one is obviously defective.

With the pressure bleeder, it should take maybe like a minute, max.

I would think there is something blocking that caliper

Bleeder is completely removed. Thinking of selling cause this is the tip of the iceberg. Nothing I have tried to fix in the last two months had worked. Half of the parts I buy are doa and this is just a drain on my soul at this point. If I could buy a zero miles e30 I'd do it, but playing with 23 year old parts and troubleshooting things I don't understand is not cutting it.

have someone fix it for you. bring it to a shop. theres no shame in paying to have your car fixed proper, so that it is safe and reliable.

if you dont understand it, and dont have the motivation to learn, let someone else fix it for you.

I used to be motivated before spawning two kiddos. Now j just want to follow the steps and get success at least 50% of the time. With the little free time I have I'd rather be driving. I just don't have the time anymore. Sucks.
