I recently swapped the MC out of my 84 318i.
The original MC is a 3 port non-abs with two ports for the front brakes closer to the booster. Like this:

The new MC I bought is from an '85 325e without ABS. Also 3 ports. However the two ports are further from the firewall and the single port is closer to the booster. Like this:

I'm confused which ports are for the front brakes. The two ports facing horizontally have a small opening for fluid to pass through. The single port facing downwards has a large opening for fluid to pass through
Is the new MC a single diameter? I assumed the two ports next to eachother could not be for the front brakes since one has a larger opening for fluid.
