Lost nut for bolt that goes through front sway bar link...

    Sup r3v,

I believe the bolt/nut size is 13mm.. Will any nut work here? Will I need to use a nylock nut?

FML, I need to keep better track of my shit when I work on my car.

For meanwhile you can take one off the front top hats and use it for the sway end link so you don't have to jack the car up again for one nut, then just go to the store and buy the but you need for the top hats.. If you look on OEM BMW.com it tells you what the thread pitch is then just go to the store and buy the nut. Don't forget its metric

I don't know how to read a thread pitch chart... Although I know the bolt used is an M8x45... PN#07119902955

Does that size give me the thread pitch?

I might just bring the bolt with me to the hardware store... FML it's out of the way to get it though, lol, but better safe than sorry.

Did you get it? The bolt that you dont wanna lose is the bushing bolt for the front swaybar bushings. They suck to have to do.
