Are front subframe bolts stretch bolts?

    Are front subframe bolts stretch bolts?

    I was trying to torque one down and broke it in the frame rail. Got the bolt out and am wonder if I should just get new ones if they are stretch bolts.

      No. None of them are stretch bolts. They have a thread cutting head to assist on re-installation.

          Before installing the new bolts, run a thread chasing tap into the threads.
          The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
