    Pelican Parts rotors

I'm looking at doing the front brakes on my vert. I want to replace the rotors and I was looking on pelican to get some and I came across these drilled ones. http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/...pg4.htm#item20

The brand is fremax and they're cheaper than the other rotors.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

    My car is my daily.

By cheaper do you mean most expensive?

Get the cheap blank rotors. You don't want/need drilled ones.

You don't need drilled rotors. They'll increase pad wear and they don't offer any sort of performance advantages over the stock blank rotors.

Spend that hard earned money elsewhere like nicer pads for example!

Hard to go wrong with ATE rotors, even if they are no longer made in Germany.

FWIW I have Fremax rotors on our Volvo and they're really high quality.

              Just don't get drilled ones.

I was at a track event yesterday where a drilled rotor cracked and caused a car to lock up and go straight off the road course. Luckily the driver walked away but the car is a total loss.

Fremax are ok, until you cook them up. Then they the bend badly.
If you are not going to use them HARD, then they are ok and really cheap.

BTW they are made in Brazil.
