Piston won't push all the way back!!

My rear caliper piston won't push all the way back I think. When i put the new pads on they won't go back on the new rotor. The space between the pads is too small.

I did use a clamp to the point where the end of the clamp got a little bent

Calipers might be rusty inside and are causing the piston to get stuck. How does the fluid look?

In the reservoir, or coming out of the bleeder on the caliper?

They're probably worth rebuilding. The rebuild kits are pretty cheap and it doesn't take long. There's a DIY on it around here somewhere that I used when rebuilding mine.

Also... take the cap off the fluid reservoir
