I just installed a 300x22mm front brake kit and soon realized that the tie rod ball joint is scraping on a small area on both brake rotors. It's doing it more on the driver side. My wheel bearings are relatively new, and don't have any irregular play. Are ball joints different sizes depending on manufacturer or something? I'd rather not buy spherical bushing tie rods right now, but has anyone else has this happen?
