Anyone recognise this E30 BBK? 296mm BMW

The calliper has BMW marking on it but I cant make out the part number in the pics.

This is on a car i am going to look at this weekend, would like to know what I'm up for in replacement pads/disks.

Thanks for the reply, The 296mm made me think so too, but the contact between the pads and disk is not exactly aligned (see the disk wear half overlaps the slots/holes) , leading me to think maybe it was something someone threw together..

Plus the callipers look slightly different to those I have seen from Hartge and alpina.

It looks like you have Hartge or RD kit. From the pic it does not look like Alpina.
The rotor should be 296mmx25mm. On the rotor should have part number and the caliper.
I have part numbers for Hartge and Alpina kits.

300mm.de make Hartge copy rotors and offer Mercedes 16v 2.3 brake pads. Make sure they are Hartge or Alpina big brake kit.

After a little more research it appears they're e46 calipers with some adapters to fit the e30 strut. The disks I'm not sure about, could be re machines not sure. but they don't line up very well with the brake pads.

All will be replaced soon. I think I'll go back to stock next.

Did not get a pm from you.

I think the top part of calipers and the brake pads are Mercedes 16v 84-87. The bottom part of calipers is Alpina made to work withe the e30. It has Alpina part number 32322246/1. The master cylinder is Mercedes that come with the kit. Alpina and Hartge were using the similar kit. The only difference is the venting of the 296x25 rotor.
