early 318i disc swap question

[FireFight]

gonna get rid of my drums in my car, im getting a full set up for doing a timing job on a car for a buddy.

im getting the trailing arms, calipers, sub-frame, parking cables, diff and axles.

i know drum brakes and disc are proportioned differently, so will i also need the master?

I haven't driven my car very hard since I did the swap, it's awaiting a new engine, but for the few times I tried to lock up the brakes, it did not feel like the rears were locking up first. I searched for hours for the answer to this question and came up empty.
