cooling duct location for e30 m3's

i finally made some backing plates and installed the ducts on my m3. but, i could not find a good solution for getting the ducts mounted on the front of the car. i just stuffed them into the tow hook area and gave up. help me find a solution.

i want to retain my fog lights (i like them on rainy days.)
i plan on adding covers to block air flow for daily driving (any time other than at the track.)
i plan on adding an oil cooler mounted near the stock location.

    any ideas?

    cheers, jason

thanks for the tip. i searched for some undertrays, only came up with the evo2 one. where should i consider mounting the collectors? should i use those window ducts mounted on flat on the undertray? or shoudl i build some abs plastic units that fit direcly behind the chin with a 1.5"x12" opening that collects to the 3" ducting? thanks, jason

If you buy a stock undertray, I believe it is just like the EVO versions w/o brake duct cut outs.

Some cut it how the EVOIII is or some cut on the side due to clearance.

Well, you can always pop rivet the hose where you want it. Or screw in a short metal or plastic coupler into the valance, which you could use a hose clamp to attach the hose too. This would make removing the hose much easier, if you ever need to. As for the covers, you can just have a coupler (like some thin walled metal pipe) where the hose enters the general wheel well area. That way, you can just remove that section of hose when you're daily driving, while still getting some air flow in the general area, if you decide to be a little aggressive. That's how I set mine up.

Maybe cut that sheet metal in your way, so you have more direct air flow with less turbulence.
