ok. what kind of metal are you using? did you weld the eye to this threaded rod or is it one machined piece?
basicly, what have you put it through? how long ago installed and what does it look like now?

I used a high quality rod end with the threaded part built in, it slides right on the control arm with some minor paint removal. The threaded block is aluminum. I've put the car threw some seriose mtn. drives, etc.... The car basically has a completly solid suspension, coil overs, etc..... They have been on the car about 4 months now and are holding up great. I'd recomend replacing the rod ends about every year or two, as grit and stuff can contaminate the bearings. But they are only about $18 each(if I sold these I'd include one extra set)85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker
