Questions about the e46 lca swap.

Ok before I get hit with the "search it" or "there are already threads on this".
I have searched and searched for solid info on these swaps. I'm collecting all the parts I think I need
    - L&R e46 control arms
    - AKG early model e46(60mm) bushings?
    - unsure on a "for sure" tie rod setup that works.
    - coilovers with camber plates to correct the massive camber gain

My question is. Does anyone know if this is a "bolt on" swap or will the arms and those bushing work as they are?
Also. What is the actual trackwidth gained total from this so I can shop for a set of wheels. I Want the perks of the swap (better feel, more positive steering, slight caster change) but not have an over abundance of tire poke in the front.
Also maybe some pictures and wheel specs from some of your setups.
Building this car for overall handling not 100%for drifting or 100% track days. But a good car for both.
Thanks for any help. I know I am beating a dead horse but I can't find the answered I'm looking for.

I used e36 evo arms on e46 hubs on an e30 although Ive now gone with a completely different set up but have a little know-how on e46 part so an e30.

As for parts you may need to go with a SLR adjustable rear bush for the control arm - they do one that is direct bolt up for the e30 but has the hex fit in the rose joint that will accept the e46 control arm. This adjustable bush will allow you to correct the caster angle as the e46 control arm is closer to 90 degrees.

Also sway bar will not link to the control arm so you may need to use a m3 style link to the strut.
