Ate and Girling

In a stock-only world, lets talk brakes.

Girling calipers were on later model e30's so that would mean it was a step up on the Ate's. Having taken these Girling units appart and seen whats inside, i'm not that impressed. If the Ate calipers had the brass bushing upgrade kit, would this make them some how better than the Girling brakes?

Girling has the ability to have the seals replaced. Is this the same with Ate?

Apart from the guide pin design, they aren't all that different. THey both have replacable seals.
