ABS warning

Lately I've been getting some kick back when applying my brake pedal. If the ABS light is NOT illuminated, then I get this kick back. It feels springy and a springy/gurgling type noise. When this happens its pretty scary when braking as it will not brake/stop completely.

Now if my ABS light is on, there's no kick back and basically saying my ABS is malfunctioning.

Has anyone dealt with this before? I don't want to throw parts at it as the booster and master cylinder are pricey. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the ABS is engaging. Are all 4 of your tires matching? Different size front/rear or side to side can cause issues.

Check your sensors too. They are magnetic and can get junk collected on them.

Yeah all the tires are the same size, brand, speed rating, model.

I'll double check the sensors, thanks for the input
