Power + Heavy Track Duty = stock brakes?

I go to the track on a monthly or bi-monthly basis.

Currently I'm putting an rb25 in my car with an upgraded turbo(it weighs something like an s50 swap).

Will stock brakes cut it assuming the following upgrades.
    Stainless lines
    Good pads
    New rotors
    Brake ducts

What kind of tires will you be running, street tires means you won't need to upgrade brakes. If you are going to be running huge r-comps then you might want to upgrade to mz3 stuff. With 225 hoosiers and good pads I can still feel the abs kick on at high speeds and without any fade.

      5 lug then? crap.

I won't have abs, does this matter?
I think im limited to street tires anyway, so i'll just give it a try.

I plan on running stock brakes with upgraded pads, lines and fluid with around 230 rwhp on victoracers.

How much power are you shooting for?

With the increase in power you might be wise to invest in increased braking power, but your setup should be proficient for the time being.

Make sure you're running some wider/grippy tires. The stock brakes only work as far as you're brave enough to brake late lol.

I would look into at least an E30 M3 brake conversion, just to make sure you've got larger rotors to help with the extra heat.

              RB25DET w/T3T4 = 400 rwhp neighborhood (i think i'm going to de-tune it to a civilized 300ish)
              Forged internal bits

on 16x9 wheels with some 225s? 235s? most likely on a falken azenis rt615

T3/T4? What trim? T3/T4 just tells you the adaptor sizes. There are big t3/t4's and little ones.

But if you are running that much power, I WOULD DEFINATELY upgrade the brakes no questions asked.

I'm not sure what trim. My friend built it (he works at turbonetics) for the motor. He said it'll max out at welllll over 400 rwhp, but theres no way the car will be balanced with that much power.

I got a mate making 460hp out of a M42 ... previously the car was a 333i which mean's it came with E28 535i Calipers and Rotors... He said it wasn't good enough, and now runs on Praggia 8 pot calipers with 290mm disks...
