    CA & Subframe Bushings

Just bought an "new" '90 325i coupe and in order to pass safety it just needs a couple things. I was about to go ahead and order a set of both front control arm bushings, and rear subframe bushings, but I just wanted to confirm I was making a good choice.

Just from doing some reading, it seems like as long as I'm replacing these parts, many people recommend going to urethane replacement units.

So I was going to go with the Ireland Engineering subframe bushings, and while I was on the phone with them, they said their M3 front CAB's would be good for me as well. I've read about some people using the stock M3 ones as well.

Any other options/recommendations, or should I go ahead and pull the trigger?

Oh, and pics to come soon!

Stock M3 is great, nice and firm, but not too harsh. The urethane bushings do introduce significant NVH, but if you're out to make the car handle, they are great when combined with IE rear trailing arm bushings aswell. If you're looking for a nice quiet ride, look at OEM units in the back.

    Keep it slideways!!
