    Remove the ABS module. Done.

I had the dealership pull mine years back when I was having some issues with it. Not that I've fixed the problem I want it back. I don't like it when I'm braking in a controlled environment, but in emergency situations, it's nice to have ABS.

spent 10 minutes and unplugged the sensors, wrapped them up with electrical tape, so if i ever do decide to sell the car i can plug it back in, oh and i pulled the bulb in the cluster because i hate idiot lights. took 30 to R&R cluster....

what do you do with the lines then

2 lines off the MC and 3 lines going to the wheels. do i have to pull lines from a car with/o ABS on it.

this car wont be my daily so im not worried about emergency situations too much

What would be the point of removing the ABS?

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

ABS gets confused with big sticky tires in track situations, and can be potentially dangerous. I've had it do some oddball shit on me before, like just lockout, as in, no brakes :S

            Keep it slideways!!

I've heard of this, but have not personally experienced this with Hawk ht-10s and toyo ra-1s. I believe that the abs system has an ice/snow mode and if you hit a bump right while braking it goes into this mode. I think abs is great, especially for novices and for those of us that can't afford to flat spot tires. Therefore, is there a way of disabling the ice/snow mode while maintaining the rest of the functionality of the system?

my current one doesnt work i think.

I have fluid going from the MC lines that goin into it, bleeding, but the ones that come out and go to the wheels do not bleed, there for my brakes dont work. It seems like a verrrrry complicated system with 3 separate solanoids and resivour tanks...... i just dont like dealling with that stuff. Ive driven other e30s with/o abs and never had problems.

All of my lines are still plumbed like normal, the ABS just doesn't function. It'd operate no differently from normal braking before the ABS kicks in.
