replace parking brake cables?

    replace parking brake cables?

    on BMP they mention on our old cars we should replace the cables because they stretch over time, its $26 for new ones, should I do it?

    If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Unless the cables have stretched to the point that they can't be properly adjusted at the parking brake handle (after first adjusting the parking brake shoes) there's no reason to replace them.
    The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
