Okay, so i puller my whole rear sub frame out, done the bushes, IE camber kit etc and am back to putting everything back in.
Car originally was a 1984 320i with drum braked rear. I am swapping a disc braked rear (with ABS) out of my 325 parts car. What i want to do is just swap the whole T/A's out of the 325 and into the 320.
I do not need the ABS to function just want to know if the swap is as easy as just swapping drums to discs and connecting the lines back up and bleeding the brakes. Will the ABS hubs with the antilock mechansim effect anything?
i.e can i just leave the ABS 'locking pin' unplugged from the hub assembly? Perhaps making up a plate to cover the hole.
Any advice would be appreciated.
