    Brakes?

My brakes are done, and my next project is to change them.

I want to go with some aftermarket drilled and slotted brakes. I would also like to get them in the larger size. Any suggestions or ideas?

300mm.de has a sweet setup, as does our own Mr.Lee of Massive Brakes.

Whatever you do, DON'T go for the cheap-o drilled eBay junk. Mine were on the car when I got it, they absolutley suck.

Soon I go 312mm and 750i calipers, using re-drilled "PowerSlot" rotors off of a 2002 Audi TT. For the rear I am going to try and source a pair of M1 roadster rotors and calipers. That combined with a 25mm master gives me the look I want with better-than-stock performance (I don't need better, I only care about the look)

      Hi Wesley.

Forget about drilling. It will get you points at car shows but they will make the rotors crack when used hard. If you race, you could think of an uprated kit with bigger and wider discs and fixed calipers. If you only use your car to go to work and occasional spirited driving, then I woulkd suggest to simply rebuild your calipers and get proper brake pads. Check if you have ATE calipers and not the flexy Girling ones.

No need to spend money. Obviously, I can sell you a kit, and it will give you a much firmer pedal, much more modulation and braking power. But do you really need that?

Those are sick, they the ones you can sell me? Are they bigger than stock? How much?

I can get some brembo disks and pbr ceramic brake pads for $400. Is that a good buy?
