My front brakes are grabbing to hard. If I raise my car up, it is very hard to get them to rotate by hand. They have not been in use for about a year and a half and this was just after my first drive in them with the 320 booster. I am going to give them a few more runs but do you guys have any thoughts about why they are sticking?

sticky or rusted calipers hopefully -
Clean and lube the guide bushings. If that doesn't work, it's probably the pistons sticking in the caliper body.

yea i will probalby just take the caliper apart tomorrow. It is just weird that the rears are perfect and the fronts are wack.Comment

Could be the rubber brake lines too. They can collapse and restrict fluid travel and make it seem like the caliper is seized. Though it sounds like it is an issue with the piston and/or slides from sitting.

during this long overhaul, the car got new SS lines so it cant be the rubber. I took one caliper apart today and the slidders were perfect and everythign seemed fine. I am just going to drive it for a while and see if it works itself out. AFte rthe car sat for a few hours, the fronts lost all the extra pressure.Comment

both sides? if so, I would not suspect bad calipers or brake lines. Check the installation of the MC. if the pushrod is sitting crooked the cylinder cannot release the pressure.

I am going to bump this because i got my car running and i want to drive the piss out of it. I am going to pull the master tomorrow but i cant figure out how the pushrod could be crooked and have the brakes still work so well. They stick to the point where i cant even push the car.
