question after replacing pads and rotors

i replaced my front and rear brake pads, rotors, and front brake lines. after doing that i took a drive around the block and noticed whenever i hit my brakes my car would shudder and it felt like the brakes would skip. almost as if the rotors were warped. any suggestions?

sometimes you need to use shims. Did the brakes you just replace have shims?

Brand new pads can be rumbly and grabby until they bed in. Try bedding in the pads and see if that helps. For ordinary street pads execute six 60-20mph decelerations at max braking in rapid succession. The drive the car for at least 10 minutes without use of the brakes.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

thanks. i'll give that a try. i was told breaking in the brakes can last for about 200 miles. i've also heard to break in brakes hold them in at 40 mph. i'll give em all a try. thanks for the help.
