Tried to install them this past weekend...problem is, on the driver side, I previously had to drill out one of the bolts on the lollipop to frame and have a stud welded in its place and a nut to secure that one particular location.
I am trying to replace my CABs without removing the whole control arm off the car. Mounting the new lollipop was very difficult as no matter how I positioned the whole wheel/axle, I couldnt get the lollipop onto the stud. Are there any tricks to free up more movement in the axle/control arm in order to position the lollipop to the frame where the bolts go in?
Replacing with the worn out bushing just to continue driving the car was a snap btw, since the rubber had lots of play/flex with the whole axle.
