    PB brake cable removal

Has anyone else had major difficulty removing their parking brake cables. Mine were rusted/ siezed on the brakes side and the tube coming out of the body. I tried welding a metal peice on and it snapped. I then drilled them out with 1/4" drill bits and then a 7/16" bit. Besides my rechargable drill dying on me all went well.

Ugh. Yeah I skip straight to a small propane torch. I scrape some of the rubberized undercoating away, then heat the body part of the tube up a little bit with a very low flame (the fuel tank is right there!).

I've had to remove some hairy looking brake cables as well, being in the salt belt.
