    Rear Wheel Bearing HELP!

So I think my wheel bearings are wearing out. Becuase when im driving you can hear them almost clunking type of thing. Its not really bad but its still apparent. Is this an easy fix or is it a thing I should leave a shop to do?

bearing is about 20 bux, but its tricky to get at it. I searched on this topic before and saw quit a few threads. I ended up buying a tool to pull the bearing, it's an SIR Tools kit, which I bought from Pelican Parts.

I believe book time is ~ 3hrs. Not an EASY job.

Bad bearings usually make a pronounced grinding sound. A clunking sort of sound could be worn loose lugs, suspension bushings or upper shock mounts, bad sway bar links, bad half shaft, bad driveshaft u-joints, or even a problem within the differential. Before diving into bearing replacement you need to determine what is causing the noise.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Rear bearings are a major PIA - even with the $300 bearing puller made for the job.

it is more of a grinding sound. I just couldn't think of how to word it. My step father who is mechanically inclined drove it for a while and he's confident its a wheel bearing issue.

But I am replacing the bushings though because there squeaky as well

Yea i had my rear wheel bearings replaced recently. Buy the $20 part and then take it to a shop. It cost me like $200 to get it done. I heard its the biggest PITA to do it yourself. Saving $200 is not worth that much agony.

That's a good price. That in US dollars or Canadian dollars?
