    akg motormounts

Looking to replace my motor and transmission mounts with the akg 75d poly mounts. how loud and/or harsh are they? Are they acceptable daily driverness? TIA

That's really a subjective thing that only you could answer. If the car is purely a daily driver the OE mounts are plenty good enough and won't be loud or harsh.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

For regular guys and most guys than can live with a stiff suspension they will be too hard for daily use .

I have/had them installed in my car and the new buyer said he would be fine with them .
After one quick drive in my parking lot he asked if I could swap in the stockers . :D

Its the trans mounts that trasmit all the NHV into the cabin .

Did you have them on a street car or a track car? Did you like them?

I've had a solid transmission mount on a fwd car before and didnt mind it at all, after about 1200 rpm it was hardly noticeable and unless i was riding my clutch or something it wasnt terrible while getting underway.

Does anyone else make polyurethane mounts slightly lower durometer say 60-65? I saw IE makes some but the dont state the durometer and theyre $45 each which is a bit high compared to the akg set at $80 for all four motor and transmission.

        Thanks for the input,
        John
