I just checked out my front pads, and they measure to 9mm. Does anyone know the width of new pads? I tried pelican and search but couldn't find an answer.

9mm is plenty of wear left. Anything 1/4" (6.35mm) or above is fine.
There is more to checking a pad then just the thickness. How are they wearing? Are they wearing evenly? Do they have any cracks (common on bonded pads)? Are there any grooves or such in them that shouldn't be there?
Why were you checking in the first place? Are your brakes not working correctly? -
Just checking to see how they were, plus my brake lining light is on so I thought that might be the issue. Hopefully its just the cut sensor wire as you saw in the other thread.
