Thanks Lee, I already revamped my brakes a little while back but I'm drawing a blank on what pads I'm currently running. I believe my exact words to my boss were "Alex, order something really good."

I'm planning on doing another revamp this spring before track season starts and I figure this would be an optimum time to install a BBK if that's something I decide to do. I will be ditching my winter weaves and I could just commit myself to running 16s from then on.

    Thanks!

A 25 mm master cylinder from a 1992 750il is a really good improvement. The E30 pedal with the 22 mm master cylinder has too much travel and feels soft even when the car has the best of everything in top notch tune. The E30 brakes stop the car no problem but they have an element of doubt. I realize that this is a qualitative impression. They're scary compared to more modern cars. This is just my opinion but my wife's 95 Civic inspires more confidence. I like a half to three quarter inch of travel with a very firm pedal.
