    Difference between rear brakes/trailing arms?

Trying to install rear brake calipers on a 90 325i - trailing arms are off an 86-87 325es. Caliper carriers don't seem to line up - are the trailing arm caliper mount ears different between years or are the carriers different?

    Thanks!

The carriers are different. Earlier are ATE and the later are normally Girling. Use those as key words (in a forum search) for some answers as to the differences and if one is possibly better than another.
But no, the brake components arent interchangable. And all non m10 e30's semi-trailing arms are the same.
