drum to disc conversion - e brake cable too short

like stated in the title, the e-brake cable is too short. its the original cable that came off the same car as the trailing arms and disc. dont know the year of the donor car though, does it matter?

I just did the swap like yesterday. The hand brake cable came with the disc trailing arm worked no problem.

Did you have difficult time feeding the thread through the puller?

There is a metal cap over the end of the cable housing... if the cap from the old cable is stuck in the body the cable will not seem long enough. Also if you have the vehicle on the ground with the suspension compressed it will be a lot easier.
