    Bushings - Urethane

I have TH eyeballs, solid adj. subframe bushings, don't need rear swaybar bushings, and will soon have m3 swarbar end links (not sure what bushings I'll need there if any). I am running gc's with Billies. I need to replace ALL of the other bushings with urethane. It needs new control arms, so bushings for those too.

Here is my list, please add/delete anything I am missing/don't need and suggest any company to use - PowerFlex, as of right now is what I will go with.

    1. Front Lower
    Wishbone Rear Bush
    2 per car (each) PFF5-301 1 15.95x2

    2. Front Anti Roll
    Bar Mounting
    2 per car (each) PFF5-302-19 2 19mm 12.95x2

    3. Rear Diff Mounting Bush 1 per car PFR5-300 19.95

    4. Rear Trailing Arm
    Outer & Inner Bush
    4 per car (each) PFR5-306 5 18.95x4

    Total = ~$153.55

    Thanks All

    Powerflex FTL.

I'd recommend Irelands "race" bushings, or AKG's offerings.

Thanks for the heads up. Other than PF ftl, should that be everything?

Subframe, trailing arm, and diff urethane will make the most difference. Sway bar bushings you really won't notice aside from a product of your stock ones being heavily deteriorated.

I can't recommend any of IE's hiem jointed swaybar links. Mine wore out into a clanky mess in less than 100 street driven miles.

On my current e30 I will be giving it the THR eyeball arms, and AKG's full line of stiff urethane bushings.

WTF dude, 100 miles? Shit joints or what? Did Jeff offer any solutions?

So far I am 100% happy with all of AKGs stuff. Good service, too.

Well I guess the question then, for the end links, is how much of a difference it will make using the regular mounting position with adj. links compaired to using the m3 position with adj. links.

                    A little update...

Sway Bar Links - I might just use oem m3 links.

Control arms and then just do OEM swaybar bushings.

Anyone see anything I'm am missing?

Highly recommend AKG. I replaced all the worned out rubber bushing on my 88 325is rear end with their urethane and am more that satisified. So far I have about 6k miles on them with no issues at all. When I rebuild the front end I will be using AKG offerings as well.

The only thing I see missing from your list are the subframe bushings and top shock mounts but I might of missed them while reading...

Another AKG product of that I used and been highly satisfied where their metal petal kit with the rubber inserts. It was a real nice touch to the interior of the cockpit...

Don't forget to pick up some urethane lube. It is different than other grease and it is generally 1-time application. Though poly bushings don't always leak, it's better to do it all the first time. My AKG offset CABs clunk badly, so I have to take them off again :(.

Something like this would do well.

I'm curious as to complaints about the powerflex. I have the race urethane subframe, diff, and trailing arm bushings and haven't had any real problems.
