    Brake Pad recommendations?

I was looking for some advice on a good set of performance pads that are good for the street and that can also perform very well on the track. Racing pads are out of the question because I drive my baby daily. The rotors on the car are Zimmermann cross drilled all the way around. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

shit man I wish I could tell you. I went with Mintex which were good for a while then got noisy as hell. Then I went to Pagid last week and they are even worse. Seems like if you want quiet, you get a shit ton of dust and short life. If you want good quality and low dust you get noise? I cant find a good medium. Let me know what you find out.

Everything is a compromise. Suspension. Engines. And brakepads. I think it all depends what your expectations are for the track. And there will still always be a drawback somehow.

Per exemple, the PF97 is superb on the street and track. No compromise yet. But it is expensive and its dust is corrosive.
Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

Hawk HP+ also good dual duty, but they dust like hell and are *ahem* a bit noisy.

Hawk HPS pads (or similar) are a good compromise between a street and track pad. Moderate dust, good cold friction, and a decent MOT.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
