    Rear shock mounts... again

I have replaced my rear shock mounts 3 times since acquiring my car. The first 2 sets were OEM, the last set was Meyle. I have destroyed them in just a couple of months of driving 3 miles per day. Once in a while I hammer on it but most of the time just cruise. I'm thinking of going with racing mounts this time but if I'm blowing through them this quickly... Is there something else I should replace/check before changing them again or is the design flaw that bad?
    I have a 1987 325ic.

What kind of springs and shocks are you using?

Are you sure that you are installing the rear shock mounts correctly?

I am also looking into getting some shock mounts and not sure with which to go with. Ive head some people saying to go with the heavy duty e46 shock mounts for the e30, but some have also said not to use these with a lowered car.

Just get the upgraded ones from IE or Turner and be done with it.

            A-Stock springs with Billy sports.
B-How could I possibly be installing them wrong?
I'll look into the IE's and Turners.

Aren't billy sports too short for stock springs? Wouldn't the shock at extension pull down too hard on the mount?

When would I bottom them out? I only really hammer on it in 2nd gear, running it to 6k. there are 2 speed bumps in the parking lot (15mph tops). Nice smooth road between here and there.
Would bad subframe bushings cause this? Something throwing off the geometry?
                Thanks for the brainstorming.
