Rear wheel bearing help needed badly! please

So I have a 89 325i and I ordered the rear wheel bearings from pelican parts 33-41-1-468-747. However my hub does not fit back into the bearing. I understand the hub is a press fit however it seems the diameter of my hub is larger than actual hole of the bearing. and his hub doesn't look like mine. His seems to have a constant diameter all the way to the flare. However mine has an increase in diameter maybe half an inch before the flare. Whats going on?? I've tried hammering and it just doesn't feel right anymore. Please help I need this car running soon.

does the new bearing match the dimensions of the one you pulled out?

You really need the correct tool to do this otherwise it's a total PITA.

The first half of the hub does but the point at where it starts flaring has a larger diameter than the hole. =/ I don't know whats wrong with this thing

Looks like the inner race is still on the hub. There is a special tool to get it off, but you can also use an air hammer if you're comfortable with one. Just did my rears yesterday, piece of cake with the right tools.

FUCK any suggestions on taking the hub out now without damaging the new bearing? Thanks

Yeah, looks like half the race is still on the hub. A gear pull can work if you can fit it in there. Otherwise a little CAREFUL grinding and you can crack the race off.

Thanks guys I got the hub off with a slidehammer then $15 at the machine shop to take off the 2 races

I often heat up the seperated bearing race, once it's red hot, a few taps with a hammer and it's off.
