Can't get the rear driver side disc off. E-brake is down, but it seems like the e-brake pads are still touching the disc. Any thoughts on what i need to do?

The parking brake handle may be down, but the shoes may not be clear of the drum. Loosen the adjusters and then try.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
